The assignment
Develop a Facebook and PR campaign to draw attention to the importance of voting without restrictions.
The Netherlands Institute for Human Rights has launched the online hotline Unlimited Voting in the run up to the elections. The aim of the hotline is to gather experiences from people with a disability concerning the accessibility of the elections. With the hotline the Institute wants to make the obstacles visible and draw attention to the problem of not being able to vote among a broad public. De Wolven had the honor to provide publicity for the hotline and to gather the experiences of disabled people.

Our role

  • Creating the campaign slogan ‘Still too many obstacles for people with disabilities’
  • Generating as much publicity as possible in the media
  • 1-to-1 approaching of key media
  • Social media campaign: creating social media content and managing social media pages and advertisements of The Netherlands Institute for Human Rights.

The result
The Facebook campaign for the hotline was seen by more than 135,000 people which resulted in 1,500 clicks. Some highlights in the media: plenty of attention for the reporting center in De Volkskrant,, BNR Nieuwsradio, NOS Radio 1, various trade media and regional media.
