The assignment
Generate free publicity to spark public interest in our new licorice concept.

Our role

  • Personal visits to editorial offices to invite them to sample the new licorice chocolate balls.
  • Pitching Meenk’s story to all relevant media.
  • Organising competitions with various bloggers.
  • Matching Meenk with potential new partners.

The result

We generated a lot of free publicity with popular women’s weeklies such as Vrouw and Viva, as well as the AD national daily. We also piggy-backed via the social media outreach of well-known women’s and cookery magazines such as Linda, Cosmo, Francesca Kookt and Betty’s Kitchen. Thanks to the new partnership with the popular ladies magazine; Viva, Meenk’s balls were included in their Viva400 goodie bag.
