Formula 1 car Max Verstappen in Batavia Stad
Those who dream of seeing the Formula 1 car of Max Verstappen up close can indulge themselves this summer. Most people only know the racing car of Max from television and normally it is at Red Bull Racing in Great Britain, but from Tuesday, August 3, the world famous car can be admired at Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet at the Max Verstappen shop.
Unique selfie moment
In the heat of the battle for the 2021 title, the Red Bull Racing car will have its own ‘pit lane’ in the Netherlands’ most famous shopping city. Formula 1 fans can admire the car for two months before Verstappen hopefully races away with the title. The RB14 in 2021 livery was delivered to Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet by CarNext, Max Verstappen’s partner, after a tour from Breukelen through Amsterdam. The Formula 1 car was placed in a glass container in the middle of the center, so fans can have their picture taken with the car from different angles.
Fan of Max
This is not the first time that unique and original racing items from Verstappen have been on display at Batavia Stad. Last October, the official Max Verstappen shop opened at Batavia Stad, which, together with the shop in Swalmen, Limburg, was able to meet the demand for merchandise from the Formula One driver. Real helmets of Max Verstappen stole the show at that time.
“A special moment”, says Scott Otte, Marketing Director Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet: “One of our core values is ‘beautifully local’ and that’s why we are proud that the sports hero and most successful racing driver in the Netherlands will once again be linked to Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet with his official shop. Our visitors come from all over the Netherlands and we know there are many Max Verstappen fans among them. They can now have their picture taken with this world famous Formula 1 car. Also nice because Batavia Stad is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. To commemorate this anniversary several activities are being organized. The arrival of the RB14 in 2021 livery is of course a highlight for us as well.”
