Pr-workshop: Week of Dutch

The question
The Week of Dutch is bustling with multifaceted language activities. Participants organize their own activities: from blog workshops to spelling competitions. De Wolven was asked to provide the participants with tools to highlight their own activities. The goal is to teach and inspire them to get started with communication, PR and social media themselves.

Our actions
Through public relations and social media workshops, De Wolven, together with its partner in Belgium – Bloom Communication – taught participants in the Netherlands and Belgium the tricks of the trade.

Content workshops

  • What is PR?
    • The basic principles of PR explained
  • How do you reach the media?
    • Practical tips and tricks to successfully contact the media with the goal of publicity
  • Social media
    • Tips with examples of how to optimally use Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Getting started
    • Assignments to practice your knowledge. For example: write your own press release, create social media content and map out concrete opportunities.

Informed and enthused participants in the Week of Dutch.
