It’s far from always necessary to buy new, expensive furniture and accessories for your decor. Because, at thrift store Budelruimers there are plenty of hidden gems for a bargain. Yet not everyone knows where to find them. So it’s up to De Wolven to create more brand awareness.
The Young Wolves organized a social influencer high tea, right in the middle of the thrift store in Amsterdam North. The tableware, the tables, the chairs… everything came from Budelruimers. During the high tea there was a thrift store fashion show and a thrift store safari offered the influencers the chance to hunt for beautiful items. They shared both the high tea and their found gems through their social media channels.
A whole page in Metro and radio interviews on FunX and AmsterdamFM. In addition, a lot of online attention via blogs and social media, including on Interior Junkie, Coosje, Go with the Vlo and Stoere Vrouwen. The owner of the store said afterwards that a new target group has been tapped. There are now younger, hip people coming to the store for the clothing. The event also created a positive vibe among the staff: an additional benefit.
